THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $1,530,879,750 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for macadamized, graveled, and paved roads and turnpikes, or improvements, including storm drainage, in aid of those roads, and the levy of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said refunding road bonds
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes $1,530,879,750 in refunding bonds for the district's road bonds, with property taxes levied without limit as to rate or amount to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize the bonds or the tax to repay them.
