THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $226,654,764 in bonds and the levy of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said bonds (paved roads and turnpikes)
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes $226,654,764 in bonds for paved roads and turnpikes, with property taxes levied without limit as to rate or amount to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize the bonds or the tax to repay them.
