This is a Tax increase. Ratifying the Ad Valorem tax rate of $0.7954 in Spur Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 6.99 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $74,660.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for ratifies Spur ISD's $0.7954 tax rate, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations tax revenue 6.99 percent ($74,660) over last year.
A “No” vote means
A vote against does not ratify the $0.7954 rate.
