The question, as printed on the ballot
Approval of the annexation by the Southwest Texas College District of the following territory: all territory within the boundaries of Dimmit County, Texas, as established by law, including all incorporated and unincorporated areas thereof, and authorization to levy an ad valorem tax for community college purposes, the rate of which is currently set at $0.120000 per $100 of taxable property valuation.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for adds all of Dimmit County to the Southwest Texas College District and authorizes the college's property tax there, currently $0.12 per $100 of taxable value.
A “No” vote means
A vote against rejects joining the college district and its property tax.
