Right of eminent domain: Shall Section 14 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to remove excess language and to clarify that the City of Odessa has the right of eminent domain to the extent and only as authorized in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote amends Section 14 to say the city has eminent domain power only as authorized by Texas law.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves Section 14 of the charter unchanged.
