Health: Shall Section 27 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to delete excess or out-of-date language, to delete language regarding authority to regulate professions exclusively regulated by the State of Texas, and to provide that the City of Odessa may establish all rules and regulations to prohibit nuisances and to protect the public health as authorized by State law?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote removes language on regulating state-regulated professions and lets the city set rules against nuisances and to protect public health as state law allows.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves Section 27 of the charter unchanged.
