Tax levies: Shall Section 74 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to delete excess and out-of-date language and to provide that tax levies shall only be performed in accordance with the Texas Constitution and the laws of the State of Texas?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote amends Section 74 to provide that taxes are levied only in accordance with the Texas Constitution and state law.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves Section 74 of the charter unchanged.
