Police department: Shall Section 28 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to delete excess language and to include language and provisions requiring the City of Odessa to maintain a full-time active police department?

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote amends Section 28 to require the city to maintain a full-time active police department.

A “No” vote means

A no vote leaves Section 28 of the charter unchanged.
