Initiative: Shall Section 86 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to reduce the minimum amount of signatures required on an initiative petition, removing out-of-date language, requiring the city secretary to review and process the petitions within a reasonable time period, and providing for submission of initiative petition to the voters at the next municipal election?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lowers the signatures needed for an initiative petition, sets review timing, and sends initiatives to voters at the next municipal election.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves Section 86 of the charter unchanged.
