The question, as printed on the ballot
Planning and zoning commission: Shall Section 33 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to clarify that members of the Planning and Zoning Commission shall be qualified voters and residents of the city of Odessa, to eliminate the requirement that members possess the same qualifications as Councilmembers and be real property taxpayers, and to remove excess and out-of-date language?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote requires commission members to be qualified voters and residents and drops the councilmember-qualification and property-taxpayer requirements.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves Section 33 of the charter unchanged.
