Removal from commission; vacancies, how filled: Shall Section 34 of the City of Odessa Home Rule Charter be amended to amend the title of Section 34 to clarify the subject matter and to amend the language to clarify City Council exclusive authority to remove a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission for any reason at the discretion of City Council?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote retitles Section 34 and states the council may remove a Planning and Zoning Commission member for any reason at its discretion.
A “No” vote means
A no vote leaves Section 34 of the charter unchanged.
