THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $720,282,000.00 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for macadamized, graveled, and paved roads and turnpikes, or improvements, including storm drainage, in aid of those roads, and the levy of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said refunding road bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes the district to issue $720,282,000 in refunding bonds for its road bonds, with property taxes to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote does not authorize these refunding bonds.
