THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The provisions of the “Contract for Financing, Operating, and Maintenance of Regional Water, Sanitary Sewer and Drainage Facilities by and Between Highland Lakes Municipal Utility District No. 1A of Ellis County and Highland Lakes Municipal Utility District No. 1C of Ellis County,” up to the maximum project cost of $901,988,000.00, and the levy of a tax sufficient to make payments required thereunder.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote approves the district's regional water, sewer and drainage contract with MUD No. 1A (up to a $901,988,000 project cost) and a tax to make its payments.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not approve the contract or the tax.
