THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of $47,260,000 of bonds by the City of Midlothian, Texas, for the purpose of designing, constructing, improving, expanding and equipping existing parks, trails and recreational facilities in the City, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Midlothian to issue $47.26 million in bonds for existing parks and trails, with taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize these bonds.
