THIS IS A TAX INCREASE; the issuance of bonds in an amount of $49,980,000 for the County's justice center and jail, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lets Freestone County issue $49,980,000 in bonds for its justice center and jail and levy taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote denies the county authority to issue these bonds.
