THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $20,900,000 of Teague Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, renovating, improving and equipping athletic facilities, including a new competition gymnasium and improvements to Lion Stadium, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lets Teague ISD issue up to $20,900,000 in bonds for athletic facilities, including a new competition gym and Lion Stadium improvements, with a tax to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote denies Teague ISD authority to issue these bonds.
