THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.92833 per $100 valuation in the Sabine Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 5.67 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $850,000.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Sabine ISD's tax rate of $0.92833 per $100 of valuation, raising its maintenance and operations tax revenue by 5.67 percent ($850,000).
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the $0.92833 tax rate.
