THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.9632 per $100 valuation in Navasota Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 19.99 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $4,128,777.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Navasota ISD's adopted tax rate of $0.9632 per $100 valuation, a 19.99% ($4,128,777) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
