THIS IS A TAX INCREASE RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $1.1879 IN GRUVER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 2.99 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $190,352.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for ratifies Gruver ISD's $1.1879 tax rate for the current year, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations revenue 2.99 percent ($190,352).
A “No” vote means
A vote against does not ratify the $1.1879 tax rate.
