"THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.9592 per $100 taxable assessed valuation in Lumberton Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 8.97 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $0.06."
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Lumberton ISD's $0.9592 per $100 tax rate for the current year, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations tax revenue 8.97 percent.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects ratifying the $0.9592 rate.
