THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE The issuance of $106,825,000 bonds for the construction, renovation and equipment of school buildings in the District, including District-wide security improvements and Early Childhood Center expansion, and the purchase of new school buses; and the levying of a tax to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any related credit agreements.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes Channelview ISD to issue $106,825,000 in bonds for school buildings, security, Early Childhood Center expansion and buses, and to levy a property tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote denies Channelview ISD authority to issue these bonds.
