THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE The issuance of $1,299,520,000 of bonds for the improvement, capital renovation, repair and replacement, and equipment of and additions to existing school buildings in the District, for the purchase of new school buses, for the retrofitting of school buses with emergency, safety, or security equipment, and for the purchase or retrofitting of vehicles to be used for emergency, safety, or security purposes, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds and the costs of any credit agreements executed or authorized in anticipation of, in relation to or in connection with the bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes Cy-Fair ISD to issue $1,299,520,000 in bonds for existing schools, school buses and safety vehicles, and to levy a property tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote denies Cy-Fair ISD authority to issue these bonds.
