THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.0673 in La Porte Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 0.12 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $136,630.28.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies La Porte ISD's adopted tax rate of $1.0673 per $100 of valuation for the current year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects ratifying La Porte ISD's adopted tax rate of $1.0673.
