THIS IS A TAX INCREASE The issuance of $280,000,000 in bonds and the issuance of $420,000,000 in refunding bonds and the levy of ad valorem taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the road bonds (paved roads and turnpikes).

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes the district to issue $280,000,000 in road bonds and $420,000,000 in refunding bonds for paved roads and turnpikes, and to levy a property tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote denies the district authority to issue these bonds.
