THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Adding the entirety of the service area of Seven Points Volunteer Fire Department, as more particularly described in the Order Calling Election, and that area assuming its proportionate share of the outstanding debts and taxes of Henderson County Emergency Services District No. 1, if the area is added to the District. The maximum ad valorem tax rate in Henderson County Emergency Services District No. 1 for fiscal year 2027 is $0.08100 per $100 valuation.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote favors adding the Seven Points VFD service area to ESD No. 1; the area would share the district's debts and taxes (maximum FY2027 rate $0.08100 per $100).
A “No” vote means
A no vote opposes adding the area to the district.
