THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratfying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.9166 in Malakoff ISD for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 5% tax revenue under the adopted rate as compared to maintenance and operatons tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additonal $947,000.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Malakoff ISD's adopted tax rate of $0.9166, a 5% ($947,000) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue over the preceding year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
