THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $419,550,000 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for macadamized, graveled, and paved roads and turnpikes, or improvements, including storm drainage, in aid of those roads, and the levy of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said refunding road bonds
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes $419,550,000 in bonds to refund the district's road bonds, repaid by property taxes without limit as to rate or amount.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects these refunding bonds and the tax to repay them.
