THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Authorizing the creation of Hunt County Emergency Services District No. 2, for the purpose of providing emergency services, and the levy of an ad valorem tax at a rate not to exceed ten cents ($0.10) on the $100 valuation of taxable property in the District.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote creates Hunt County ESD No. 2 to provide emergency services and lets it levy a property tax of up to 10 cents per $100 of valuation.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects creating the district and its tax.
