APPROVAL OF THE ANNEXATION BY THE SOUTHWEST TEXAS COLLEGE DISTRICT OF THE FOLLOWING TERRITORY: ALL TERRITORY WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF LA SALLE COUNTY TEXAS, AS ESTABLISHED BY LAW, INCLUDING ALL INCORPORATED AND UNINCORPORATED AREAS THEROF, AND AUTHORIZATION TO LEVY AN AD VALOREM TAX FOR JUNIOR COLLEGE PURPOSES, THE RATE OF WHICH IS CURRENTLY SET $0.1200000 PER $100 OF TAXABLE PROPERTY.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for adds all of La Salle County to the Southwest Texas College District and authorizes the college's property tax there, currently $0.12 per $100 of taxable property.
A “No” vote means
A vote against rejects joining the college district and its property tax.
