THIS IS A TAX INCREASE RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $0.81260 IN SUDAN INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 6.094 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $287,639.00.
A “Yes” vote means
A vote for ratifies Sudan ISD's $0.81260 tax rate, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations tax revenue 6.094 percent ($287,639) over last year.
A “No” vote means
A vote against does not ratify the $0.81260 rate.
