THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $10,655,000 of Leon Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, renovating, improving and equipping athletic facilities, with preference on projects related to the football stadium, including new turf, visitor stand, a press box; new track; golf facilities; and projects related to concessions, bathrooms, and transportation, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Leon ISD to issue up to $10,655,000 in bonds for athletic facilities such as stadium turf, visitor stands, a press box, a track and golf facilities.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize these bonds.
