THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of not to exceed $5,500,000 of Leon Independent School District School Building Bonds for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, renovating, improving and equipping athletic facilities, including a 60-yard multipurpose indoor facility, and the levying of a tax sufficient to pay the principal and interest on the bonds and the cost of any credit agreements.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Leon ISD to issue up to $5,500,000 in bonds for athletic facilities, including a 60-yard multipurpose indoor facility.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize these bonds.
