THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.7467 in Leon Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 1.19 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $614,967.90.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Leon ISD's adopted tax rate of $0.7467, a 1.19% ($614,967.90) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue over the preceding year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
