THIS IS A TAX INCREASE SHALL THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF HULL FRESH WATER SUPPLY DISTRICT BE AUTHORIZED TO LEVY AND COLLECT AN OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TAX AT AN UNLIMITED RATE ON ALL TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE DISTRICT TO SECURE FUNDS FOR OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE PURPOSES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, FUNDS FOR PLANNING, CONSTRUCTING, ACQUIRING, MAINTAINING, REPAIRING AND OPERATING ALL NECESSARY LAND, PLANTS, WORKS, FACILITIES, IMPROVEMENTS, APPLIANCES AND EQUIPMENT OF THE DISTRICT, AND FOR PAYING COSTS OF PROPER SERVICES, ENGINEERING AND LEGAL FEES, AND ORGANIZATION AND ADMINISTRATIVE EXPENSES, AND FOR ANY LAWFUL PURPOSE?
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes the Hull Fresh Water Supply District board to levy an operation and maintenance property tax at an unlimited rate.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize the district to levy the operation and maintenance tax.
