THIS IS A TAX INCREASE RATIFYING THE AD VALOREM TAX RATE OF $1.1969 IN LUBBOCK-COOPER INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, A RATE THAT WILL RESULT IN AN INCREASE OF 8.7013 PERCENT IN MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS TAX REVENUE FOR THE DISTRICT FOR THE CURRENT YEAR AS COMPARED TO THE PRECEDING YEAR, WHICH IS AN ADDITIONAL $3,072,732.

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for ratifies Lubbock-Cooper ISD's $1.1969 tax rate, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations tax revenue 8.7013 percent ($3,072,732) over last year.

A “No” vote means

A vote against does not ratify the $1.1969 rate.
