Authorizing the creation of the Madison County Assistance District No.1 and the imposition of a sales and use tax at the rate of 1.5 percent for the purpose of financing the operations of the district.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote creates Madison County Assistance District No. 1 in the unincorporated county and authorizes a 1.5% sales and use tax there to finance the district's operations.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not create the district or authorize the tax.
