THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of bonds in the amount of $8,000,000 for the purpose of refunding all or a portion of the principal, interest, and redemption premium on certain previously issued maintenance tax obligations of the district, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote lets Bay City ISD issue $8,000,000 in bonds to refund previously issued maintenance tax obligations, and levy taxes to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote does not authorize the refunding bonds.
