THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $159,945,000 in refunding bonds to refund bonds issued for macadamized, graveled, or paved roads and turnpikes, or improvements, including storm drainage in aid of those roads, or refunding of such bonds and the levy of ad valorem taxes, without limit as to rate or amount, sufficient to pay the principal and interest on said refunding bonds

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes $159,945,000 in refunding bonds to refinance bonds issued for roads and related storm drainage, with a property tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote denies authority to issue these refunding bonds.
