THIS IS A TAX INCREASE The issuance of $143,000,000 in bonds and the issuance of $214,500,000 in refunding bonds and the levy of ad valorem taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the road bonds (paved roads and turnpikes)

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote authorizes $143,000,000 in bonds and $214,500,000 in refunding bonds for roads, with a property tax to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A no vote denies authority to issue these bonds.
