THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $.8128 in Henderson Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 22.85 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $2,730,765.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Henderson ISD's adopted tax rate of $0.8128 per $100, a 22.85% ($2,730,765) increase in maintenance and operations tax revenue over the preceding year.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not ratify the adopted tax rate.
