THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE; the issuance of bonds in the amount of $750,000 for school buses, and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.

A “Yes” vote means

A vote for authorizes San Augustine ISD to issue up to $750,000 in bonds for school buses and bus security devices, and to levy property taxes to repay them.

A “No” vote means

A vote against denies the district authority to issue these bonds.
