THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $4,200,000 of bonds for the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion, improvement and equipment of school buildings and facilities (including, but not limited to, improvements to heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and other energy efficiency improvements, including improvements to windows and doors; electrical system improvements; drainage improvements; sidewalk and sidewalk awning improvements; construction of locker rooms and offices for physical education programs; restroom remodeling; and various other repairs, renovations and improvements to the District's facilities), and any necessary demolition or removal of facilities in connection therewith, and the levy and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote lets Richland Springs ISD issue $4,200,000 in bonds for school building and facility improvements and levy taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote does not authorize the bonds.
