THIS IS A TAX INCREASE; the issuance of bonds in the amount of $35,000,000 for library facilities and the levy of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Austin to issue up to $35 million in bonds for library facilities, with priority to the Hampton at Oak Hill branch and a new Colony Park branch.
A “No” vote means
A no vote denies authority to issue these library bonds.
