THIS IS A TAX INCREASE Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $1.1106 per $100 valuation in Georgetown Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 12.80 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the District for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $17,479,755.

A “Yes” vote means

A yes vote ratifies Georgetown ISD's $1.1106 tax rate, which the ballot says raises maintenance and operations tax revenue 12.80%, an additional $17,479,755.

A “No” vote means

A no vote rejects the adopted $1.1106 tax rate.
