THIS IS A TAX INCREASE. Ratifying the ad valorem tax rate of $0.9554 per $100 valuation in Poth Independent School District for the current year, a rate that will result in an increase of 18 percent in maintenance and operations tax revenue for the district for the current year as compared to the preceding year, which is an additional $120.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote ratifies Poth ISD's adopted $0.9554 tax rate, which the proposition says raises maintenance and operations revenue 18% (an additional $120).
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the adopted $0.9554 tax rate.
