THIS IS A PROPERTY TAX INCREASE. The issuance of $60,000,000 of bonds for the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation, renovation, expansion and equipment of school buildings (including, but not limited to, a new elementary school, safety and security improvements and accessibility improvements in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act), and any necessary demolition or removal of facilities in connection therewith, and the levy and imposition of taxes sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds.
A “Yes” vote means
A yes vote authorizes Graham ISD to issue $60,000,000 in bonds for school buildings, including a new elementary school, and to levy taxes to repay them.
A “No” vote means
A no vote rejects the bonds and the tax to repay them.
