Shall Wythe County be authorized to levy an additional local sales tax at a rate of one percent, with the revenues from such tax to be used solely for capital projects for the construction or renovation of schools in Wythe County, including related bond and loan financing costs, and with such tax to expire on June 30, 2046?
A “Yes” vote means
Authorizes Wythe County to levy an additional 1% local sales tax, used only for school construction or renovation (including related financing costs), expiring June 30, 2046.
A “No” vote means
Wythe County is not authorized to levy the additional 1% sales tax for school construction and renovation.
