Adams County Fire Protection District No. 4 has adopted a resolution proposing a ballot measure for a real property tax levy. This measure will authorize the District to levy a special property tax of $11,000, an estimated $.42 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation in 2026, for construction, maintenance and operation of pumper equipment in the year 2027. Should this measure be:
A “Yes” vote means
Fire District 4 may levy a one-year special property tax of $11,000 (an estimated $0.42 per $1,000 of assessed value) for the construction, maintenance and operation of pumper equipment in 2027.
A “No” vote means
Fire District 4 does not levy the $11,000 special property tax for pumper equipment in 2027.
