Adams County Park and Recreation District No. 2 has adopted a resolution proposing a ballot measure for a real property tax levy. This measure will authorize the District to levy a special property tax of $85,000, an estimated $0.83 per one thousand dollars of assessed valuation in 2026, for maintenance and operation of the Washtucna Pool for the year 2027. Should this measure be:

A “Yes” vote means

Park and Recreation District 2 may levy a one-year special property tax of $85,000 (an estimated $0.83 per $1,000 of assessed value) to maintain and operate the Washtucna Pool in 2027.

A “No” vote means

Park and Recreation District 2 does not levy the $85,000 special property tax for the Washtucna Pool in 2027.
