SPECIAL 1 YEAR EXCESS MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS LEVY The Douglas County Hospital District #2 (ambulance services) Board of Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 91 on 28 July 2026, containing a proposition to finance maintenance and operations. This proposition would authorize the District to levy excess taxes upon all taxable property with the District in the sum of $80,000, requiring collection of approximately $0.36 per thousand of assessed valuation in 2027. Should this proposition be approved?
A “Yes” vote means
Approves a one-year $80,000 levy (about $0.36 per $1,000) collected in 2027 for the district's clinic and ambulance services.
A “No” vote means
The one-year $80,000 levy for clinic and ambulance services is not collected.
